范朋克在这里又扮演了一个类似劫富济贫“侠客”的角色，只是故事的后续展开却并没有在劫富济贫上而是转而说起了侠客的身世，最后变成了侠客与杀父仇人间的周旋。德万的大场面调度很见功力，但是这剧本怎么说呢略微尴尬吧，尤其是那个曾经也爱慕侠客母亲的警察，有点硬凑戏的味道。

题材大胆、现实立意深刻，抓住社会痛点，剧本扎实。艾伦·德万在影视创方面的确很厉害，希望爱情片多来点这种影视剧，强烈安利大家这部《好恶人 The Good Bad-Man 》。
